Persol's story began almost a century ago, back in 1917 in Turin (Italy), when the photographer and inventor Giuseppe Ratti Ratti created the company to make glasses that protect the eyes of the sporting and military pilots. What he sought from the outset was to create cutting-edge eyewear.
