She attended a Balenciaga fashion show at the age of 13, shared with royalty and with the renowned pop art artist Andy Warhol, among many other artists of the time. These experiences led her to enter the world of design.

It was then that she decided to move to New York to found the Carolina Herrera brand, a name born out of her marriage to Reinaldo Herrera, editor of Vanity Fair magazine.
Her empire grew rapidly as a benchmark in fashion and luxury. In 1986 she designed her first wedding dresses and the Carolina Kennedy dress, which propelled her career much higher in the field of fashion design.
In 1987 she began to develop fragrances thanks to an agreement she signed with the Puig group. This led her to venture into another area and cover another type of market. The creation of her first perfumes was successful and gave her greater international recognition.
From here, in 1995 Puig decided to incorporate the entire activity of the Carolina Herrera firm. Her fame continued to grow every year with new collections and fragrances. It has won important awards and international recognition.
