The 9101 celebrates the 40th anniversary of one of Tony Gross's favorite frames: the 0101. The original 0101 was named after George Orwell's "Room 101" in Big Brother, where one's greatest fears were kept. Tony wore the archived 0101 frame in Crystal throughout the 1980s, on his frequent trips to elite clubs in New York and London. It became his signature style, alternating between sunglasses and optical versions. This frame has generous proportions, with a lens size of 53mm, as opposed to the 51mm seen on the regular 9101.
