The Rexangle is a new shape for Cutler & Gross: a combination of a hexagon and a rectangle. An unusual shape that offers the best of both worlds. The double milling, characteristic of the 1384, is repeated in the 1385. The bold angles give the frame a natural, unstructured fluidity. Traditional Italian techniques are incorporated into a new form of design and interpretation. The fit is comfortable and familiar, yet contrasted with postmodern colors and unusual patterns.
